Physicians: Yes, Gun Violence Is A Public Health Issue

The American College of Physicians reaffirmed that gun violence is a public health issue and issued recommendations to reduce death and injuries caused by guns. These guidelines include universal background checks, a ban on assault and semiautomatic weapons, and built-in trigger locks and signals that guns are loaded.
