Dark Knight Shooting, July 20, 2012: “You just smelled smoke and you just kept hearing it, you just heard bam bam bam, non-stop,” one witness told ABC News in 2012. “The gunman never had to reload. Shots just kept going, kept going, kept going.”
That deserves repeating: “The gunman never had to reload.” He shot 70 people with three guns and never had to reload.
Six years later, we still have not banned high-capacity magazines or assault rifles because they are money makers for the gun industry.
The shooter bought–legally–6,000 rounds of ammunition.
When the family of one woman who died tried to sue to ammo seller, the family was stopped by PLCCA laws and sued in return.
They lost their home as well as their only daughter, and the ammo seller is still in business, dealing death with impunity.
Never forget that the gun industry is fighting for their profits. They don’t give a flying fig about your life.
The NRA: they’re not just making a buck–they’re making a killing.
