Oregon Bill To Expand Background Checks In The Works

Senator Floyd Prozanski is finishing up work on a bill to expand background checks to cover all gun sales in the state of Oregon. Democrats think they have a large enough majority to pass the bill. Even Rep. Jeff Barker, who is skeptical that this bill will have much impact, believes it will pass.

Requiring background checks on all gun sales is a common-sense law that will save lives.
