Signing In South Carolina Ushers In Stiffer Penalties, Gun Ban for Domestic Violence Crimes

Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina just signed a bill that bans domestic abusers from having guns and stiffens penalties for domestic violence.

The bill is an important step to protect women and families from domestic violence and gun violence, and Ceasefire hopes that Oregon and other states will follow South Carolina’s lead.
